- Attend all biweekly general meetings (if any scheduling conflicts arise, please contact us at email@example.com). Meetings are held on all even weeks of the quarter, except for Week 10. Members will earn volunteer hours for attending meetings. Our general meetings will consist of community building and educational presentations on intersectional issues surrounding houselessness.
- Meet the minimum hour requirement, which is announced at the start of each quarter (typically 10-14 hours per quarter, including hours earned from attending meetings). Requirements are set based on averages from previous quarters, and revisited before the end of the quarter to ensure that expectations are in-line with opportunities offered to members. Hours do not have to be from different sites (i.e. you may attend the same site four times and receive hours for each visit). Please contact the Executive Directors if there are any issues with meeting the hour requirement.
- Engage in social events. It is very important that our organization fosters an inclusive community that can provide a safe environment for all volunteers. To accomplish this, building relationships within our organization is very important, so we expect our members to attend any social events that they can and engage with their fellow members.
